Lydia L. Foster, APRN, PMHNP- BC, CCM

Lydia is the founder of Foster Minds Psychiatry and a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner licensed in Florida. She graduated summa cum laude with a 4.0 GPA from Post University in Waterbury, Connecticut, earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and went on to complete her Master of Science in Nursing as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at St. Thomas University in Miami Gardens, FL.

​Lydia works with adults 18+ experiencing major depressive disorder, generalized anxiety, panic, OCD, PTSD, and bipolar-spectrum conditions. She also supports clients navigating life transitions, work stress, and recovery-focused wellness.

Her approach is practical and outcomes-focused: clear goals, shared decisions, and stepwise plans you can follow between visits. Lydia values coordination with therapists, primary-care clinicians, and specialists to reduce fragmented care and improve results.

Kelly L. Maldonado, director of practice administration

Kelly L. Maldonado is the Director of Practice Administration at Foster Minds. She is the organizational backbone of the practice, blending health-care administrative knowledge with a warm, client-centered approach.

With years of experience in health-care administration and customer service, Kelly understands how efficient processes directly support patient outcomes. She collaborates closely with Lydia and the clinical team to foster a practice culture built on compassion, confidentiality, and continuous improvement.

Outside the office, Kelly enjoys family time, community service, and lifelong learning—qualities that inspire her work every day.
